Tangle Cushion Cover

The style of Bauhaus is commonly characterised as a combination of the Arts and Crafts movement with modernism, as evident in its "aim to bring art back into contact with everyday life." Thus, typical Bauhaus designs—whether evident in architecture, textiles, or interior design—feature little ornamentation and a focus on balanced forms and abstract shapes.

In the entire Bauhaus collection, we have only played with one form of ornamentation, which is the scalloped trim. Using the same principle, we have created a double scalloped feature by laser cutting the two different faux leathers woven together to create this unusual concept on the two sides of the cushion cover. The linen fabric is encased by this feature, making it an absolute standout in this collection.
