Loophole Cushion Cover

To this day, Bauhaus remains one of the most influential design movements of all time, having married functional design with aesthetic pleasure to create a modern art form that could bring beauty to everyday objects and beyond. It was a revolutionary time for graphic design. Typography, layouts, and the use of shape and colour were being reimagined in a way that has had a significant impact on graphic design well into the 21st century. We have taken inspiration from the strong and bold graphic statements established during the Bauhaus era and used these elements to create a modern cushion cover. The cushion cover is a new interpretation of the iconic Bauhaus style, bringing a touch of its aesthetic to the modern home. This cushion cover design features colour blocking, achieved through the use of two faux leathers of different colours. The two faux leathers meet in the middle and are then overlapped by a textured tweed fabric, creating a loop on both the shorter sides of the cushion. This design creates a visual contrast between the smooth faux leather and the textured tweed, resulting in a striking contemporary cushion cover design. The use of multiple materials and textures adds depth and interest to the design, making it a unique and visually appealing piece for any home.
