Ingress Cushion Cover

The Bauhaus movement was characterised by its focus on simplicity and industrialism, which often manifested in the use of minimal, industrial materials. By limiting the number of materials used in their designs, Bauhaus designers aimed to create a sleek and modern look that reflected the zeitgeist of the time. We too have attempted to use these kinds of materials to make it more accessible to everyone while still keeping the design aesthetics intact. This cushion cover is made of faux leather and multi-coloured tweed fabric. The faux leather has contrast stitching that runs along the middle, creating a band-like effect. The stitching is placed at equal distances apart, adding a decorative touch to the design while also reinforcing the structural integrity of the designer cushion cover. The tweed fabric extends itself to create a fringe at one of the corners, creating a broken edge treatment. The use of a fringe on the cushion cover is a creative and playful design detail that adds visual interest and texture to the overall look of this modern cushion cover. This attention to detail and careful consideration of the materials used are typical of the Bauhaus aesthetic, where form and function are equally important.
